What Con Map is
Con Map is an unofficial community tool that shows which stores are open at the 40th Annual Hot Wheels Collectors Convention (October 7-11, 2026, Los Angeles). It is not affiliated with Mattel or the convention organizers.
What we collect
Your account. When you sign in we receive your email address and a display name (your name from Google, or the first part of your email). We never see your Google password.
Stores you add. Store name, description, categories, location at the venue, open/closed status and "back at" time. This information is public.
Reports and thumbs-ups. Which store you reported, whether you said it was open or closed, and when. Other users see the report without your name. The administrator can see who made a report, to deal with abuse.
On your device. Your browser keeps your sign-in session, a saved copy of the store list and cached app files so the app can work when your connection drops. There are no ads and no analytics trackers.
Who processes it
Supabase stores the database and handles sign-in, Cloudflare hosts the website, and Google handles "Continue with Google". These providers may process standard technical data such as your IP address to run their services. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep account and store data while the event runs and for a short time afterwards, then delete it. You can ask us to delete your account and your data at any time.
Your choices and contact
To ask for access to or deletion of your data, open an issue on the project page at github.com/Akir0x/hotwheels_convention_map/issues. Issues there are public, so do not post private details; we will explain how to confirm it is you by signing in.
Children
Con Map is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
